<br />I. 26 2nd Street N.E. (Repair Only) <br /> <br />Motion was made by Paul Denney, seconded by Brian Wear, that all of the <br />structures be referred to the Building and Standards Commission for <br />demolition since they cannot be rehabilitated nor do they have significant <br />historical value, with the specific exception that two of the structures are <br />being presented for board up only. Motion carried 7-0. <br /> <br />_____ END CONSENT AGENDA ----- <br /> <br />6. Request items for future agendas. Pike Burkhart asked if the City could adopt <br />some kind of demolition by neglect ordinance. Ms. Wright advised that the <br />staff if reviewing the International Property Maintenance Code to see if this <br />will work. <br /> <br />7. Receipt of report from the Historic Preservation Officer. Lisa Wright <br />presented to the Board handouts on the report. She also advised that the City <br />had just learned it was successful in the Brown lawsuit. She stated that the <br />most important aspect of this win was that the Federal Court found the City's <br />ordinance Constitutional and that the Board was within its rights to enforce <br />it as it did. <br /> <br />8.
