5. Consideration of and action on the following ordinances: October 30, 2006 Page 2 A. Revising Section 31-65 (b) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris and revising the Traffic Control Map to provide for a change in speed zone on State Highway 19/24. C. Authorizing and allowing, under the Act governing the Texas Municipal Retirement System, "Updated Service Credits" in said system for service performed by qualifying members of such system who presently are in the employment of the City of Paris, Texas, providing for increased prior and current service annuities for retirees and beneficiaries of deceased retirees of the City. D. Amending Code of Ordinances by revising Section 12-1 to authorize the staffing levels of the Fire Department. 6. Personal Appearance(s). A. Representative for Southern Disposal, Inc. regarding Solid Waste Hauler Permit. " B. Weldon Houchins regarding deed restrictions. 7. Citizens Forum. Authorizing the issuance of a solid waste collection permit to Southern Disposal, 'nc. for the purpose of engaging in the business of collecting or transporting solid waste from commercial and industrial units within the city limits of the city of Paris, Texas, and finding a public necessity and convenience for issuance of said permit.
