<br />Paris Visitors & Convention Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />March 22, 2006 <br /> <br />Present: Gail Dority, Richard Manning, Gary Vest, Curtis Fendley, Becky Semple, Helen <br />Short, Roy Gwinn, Bobby Walters, George Kimbrough, Brady Fisher, Mindy Moree, <br />Jamie Fussell from The Paris News. <br /> <br />Chairman Richard Manning called the meeting to order at 4:05 p.m. <br /> <br />Becky Semple presented the board members with the directors hand book. <br /> <br />New Business: The minutes were approved on a motion made by Roy Gwinn seconded <br />by Gail Dority. <br /> <br />Chairman Richard Manning presented the events funding request for YWCA to the board <br />for discussion and possible approval for funding. <br />Gary Vest presented possible line items that funding could come from in the budget. <br />After lengthy discussion Bobby Walters made a motion to fund $1000 for promotional <br />efforts with the provision that the V &CC logo would be listed on all promotional material <br />printed. The motion passed on a second by Brady Fisher with 7 unopposed and 1 <br />opposition. <br /> <br />With no further business to come before the board the meeting was adjourned on a <br />motion made by Bobby Walters seconded by Brady Fisher. <br /> <br />Re~nectfully s~~itted, , <br /> <br />~0/A1;4 <br /> <br />Becky Semple <br />Director <br /> <br />r - <br />
