Consideration of and action on the following ordinances: <br /> <br />A. Revising Section 31-65 (b) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of <br />Paris and revising the Traffic Control Map to provide for a change in <br />speed zone on US 82 due to the disannexation of property and in the <br />area of Pine Mill Road. <br /> <br />7. Consideration of and action on the following resolutions: <br /> <br />A. Authorizing the filing of a grant application with the U. S. Environmental <br />Protection Agency for a Brownfield Cleanup Grant for the purpose of <br />mitigating environmental hazards at the Grand Theater; pledging to <br />accept the donation from Lamar County, Paris Junior College, and Paris <br />Independent School District of all their undivided interest in and to the <br />Grand Theater in the event the City is awarded such grant. <br /> <br />8. Citizens Forum. <br /> <br />(Citizens desiring to appear under this item must limit their presentation to <br />two (2) minutes in duration. Under the Open Meetings Law, because advance <br />notice of the subject matter of each presentation was not received in time to <br />appear on the agenda, City Council is limited in its response to referring the <br />matter to a future agenda, to an existing policy, or to a staff person with <br />specific factual information. Claims against the City and individual personnel <br />appeals are not appropriate for Citizens Forum). <br /> <br />9. Report by City Manager concerning the removal of waste containers <br />belonging to Southern Disposal, Inc. <br /> <br />10. Discussion of enforcement of restrictive covenants. <br /> <br />11.
