Chairman Bill Kennedy called the meeting to order. Other members in <br />anenaance were H11aa MaHory, Deboran Hatley, JaCKIe AlsObrook, Debbie Anaerson, ana Audrey Lakes. Also <br />in attendance were Priscilla McAnally, Library Director; and Amanda Green, Friends of the Library President. <br /> <br />There bemg no corrections or additions to the mmutes of the September meeting, they were approved as <br />pr~sented. <br /> <br />A retlfement pany hosted oy tne Frienas of tile Library is scheduiea for Monaay, October 23, for Chjldren' s <br />Librarian Emily Kirkman. The Friends priority this month is to push attendance at the October 28 luncheon. <br /> <br />The budget and statistical reports were presented both for the month of September and the entire 2005-2006 <br />fiscal year. All but $5700 of the 2005-2006 budget was expended. The 2005-2006 circulation figure showed a <br /> <br />- - '. -. . . . <br />6~/o decrease trom the 2004-2005 year, but that should improve this year with the out of CIty tee no longer in <br />effect. The September report reflected an increase of 4% in circulation over September ofIast year. There were <br /> <br />. . ". - . . - . ". . <br />8 children;s programs in September with ill in attendance. Library visits tor September were down 8%.
