<br />DRAFT <br /> <br />f:attomeylreswork\current\ Municipal Lease Agreement <br />December 5, 2006 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, <br />TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A MUNICIPAL LEASE <br />AGREEMENT FOR THE PURCHASE OF VARIOUS ITEMS OF EQUIPMENT FOR <br />SEVERAL CITY OF PARIS DEPARTMENTS; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND <br />PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 25th day of <br />September, 2006, in Ordinance No. 2006-032, authorize the purchase of various items of <br />equipment to be used in several City of Paris Departments as shown on Exhibit B attached <br />hereto, and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the form of Municipal Lease Agreement with Liberty National Bank in <br />Paris, Texas for the purchase of said equipment, attached hereto as Exhibit A, should, in all <br />things, be approved, and the City Manager, should be authorized to execute the same; NOW, <br />THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble of this resolution are hereby in all <br />things approved. <br /> <br />Section 2. That the form of the Municipal Lease Agreement with Liberty National Bank <br />in Paris, Texas, attached hereto as Exhibit A, be, and the same is hereby, approved. <br /> <br />Section 3. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to <br />execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, the Municipal Lease Agreement with Liberty National <br />Bank financing the purchase of the equipment listed on Exhibit B, attached hereto, upon the <br />terms and conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A, attached hereto. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED this 11 th day of December, 2006. <br /> <br />Richard Manning, Mayor <br /> <br />
