Ejected in 1977, 1978 and 1980 to the Board of the Missowi Municipal League. Thi5 <br />sixteen member bolinJ composed of twelve elected and four appointed officials on a <br />statewide basis is responsible for the policy and g~lleral optlT31ion of the Municipal League <br />as established by its 445 member municipalities. <br /> <br />Missouri Lo~1 Government Statewide Retirement Board <br /> <br />Elected by the member representatives as a board member of the State Retirement Board, <br />This seven member board is responsible for the ()veraU adminislration and investment policy <br />funnation for the state wide Local Government Retirement System. Approximately one <br />hundred and ninety million doUars is held by this retirement system. Served seven years on <br />this board, from J 973 -1980. <br /> <br />Missouri City Management Association <br /> <br />Elected in 1980 by lhe members of the Missouri City Manager's Association to serve as <br />President of the association. Prior to that time had served as Vice-President and Treasurer. <br />This association involves itself with the improvement of counci]~management governments. It <br />also functions as the state link 10 the lnternational City Management Association. <br /> <br />.. Texas City Management AliSociation <br /> <br />Elected in 1985 by the members of the Texas City Manager's Association to the State Board <br />oftbe association. Received the TCMA Lifetime Achievement Award in June 2004. <br /> <br />InternatlonnlCity Management Retirement Corporation Board <br /> <br />Appointed in 1987 and re-apJXlinted in 1991 to serve as a board member on a seven- <br />member board that administers this fund. Over 220,OOOLocaJ Government employees have <br />....~invested in excess of 5 billion dollars in this deferred compensation progmm.
