<br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR <br />MEETING OF THE <br />MAIN STREET ADVISORY BOARD <br /> <br />November 15, 2006 <br />City Hall Council Chambers <br />107 East Kaufman Street <br />3:00 p.m. <br /> <br />A meeting of the members of the Paris Main Street Advisory Board was held Wednesday, November <br />15,2006 at 3:15 p.m., at City Hall Council Chambers. Jennifer Long, Vice-Chairman, presided. <br /> <br />PRESENT: Karol Lyn Moore <br />Cindy Allcorn <br />Matt Coyle <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Linda Knox <br />Drew Crawford (Alt.) <br />Lisa House <br />Pike Burkhart <br />Zach Saffle <br />Casey Rose <br />Walt Brown <br /> <br />Other members present include Becky Semple, V &CC, Suzy Harper, Preserving Historic Properties <br />and Barbara Wilson. <br /> <br />August 23, 2006 minutes were reviewed by advisory board members and a motion was made by Matt <br />Coyle to approve the minutes as prepared. Cindy Allcorn seconded and minutes were unanimously <br />approved. <br /> <br />September 5, 2006 minutes were reviewed by advisory board members and a motion was made by <br />Cindy Allcorn to approve the minutes as prepared. Matt Coyle seconded and minutes were <br />unanimously approved. <br /> <br />Organization Committee Report - Pike Burkhart was absent from the meeting and asked Suzy <br />Harper to provide his report to the advisory board. Suzy reported that Pike would like to continue <br />cooperating with other organizations such as KPB, DTMA, V &CC, P AAA, etc. He is impressed with <br />the cooperation he has witnesses for the 151 Annual Holiday in Paris event. <br /> <br />Promotions Committee Report - Walt Brown was absent from the meeting. Jennifer Long presented <br />the first rendition of the proposed Main Street logo for the advisory board to review and take action <br />on. Members requested the following changes be made: spelling of the word Texas vs. Tex., change <br />the "A Main Street City" font and font size, as well as perspective of "A Main Street City". Jennifer <br />took note of proposed changes. Karol Lyn Moore made a motion to bring the logo back to the board <br />at the December meeting with proposed changes for the board to re-evaluate. Cindy Allcorn <br />seconded the motion. Board approved unanimously. <br /> <br />Page 1 of2 <br />
