<br />Paris Visitors and Convention Council <br />Lamar County Chamber of Commerce <br />Meeting Minutes <br />Thursday, October 19,2006 <br />4 P.M. <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the members of the Paris Visitors and Convention <br />Council was held on Thursday, October 19, 2006 at 4:00 P.M., in the <br />community room of the Chamber of Commerce, with Richard Manning, <br />Chairman, presiding. <br /> <br />Present: Mindy Moree Helen Short George Kimbrough <br /> Rodney Bass Gail Dority Richard Manning <br /> Mary Lou Coe Tim Masters Becky Semple <br /> Tony Williams Mike Patterson <br />Absent: Brady Fisher Derald Bulls Mary Ann Fisher <br /> Emily 0' Connor Roy Gwinn Suzy Harper <br /> Dave Johnson Jon McFadden Bobby Walters <br /> <br />Also present was Jamie Fussell with the Paris News, Juanita Miller with <br />Rallye de Paris, Pike Burkhart - Paris Gateways and Wayfinding Signs, <br />Beth Golden with Main Street, Brian Ausburn with the City of Paris. <br /> <br />Chairman Richard Manning called the meeting to order at 4:00 P.M. <br /> <br />The September, 2006 Financial report for the Visitors and Convention <br />Council and Love Civic Center was presented for approval. George <br />Kimbrough made a motion for approval, and Helen Short seconded the <br />motion. Financials were approved. <br /> <br />Minutes from the V & CC meeting on September 20,2006 were read and <br />approved by a motion from Tony Williams and seconded by Tim Masters. <br /> <br />Funding request for Rallye de Paris was reviewed, and Gail Dority made a <br />motion to grant the request for $1500.00 to be used for the Camp Maxey <br />Training Center road rental use fee. Helen Short seconded the motion. <br />Funding request for Rallye de Paris was approved. <br />
