A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL LAKE CROOK HUNTING DISTRICT MAP, MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 9th day of December, 1991, by Resolution No. 91-118, adopt the First Official Amended Lake Crook Hunting District Map, which map was used for the designation of hunting districts; and, WHEREAS, the City Council did heretofore amend the official Lake Crook Hunting District Map on April 4, 1996 by Resolution No. 96-027 to allow hunting with bows and arrows on a portion of District Map and which was open to the general public; and, WHEREAS, Archers for Christ have expressed an interest in adding the area identified as Area No.8-A on the Official Lake Crook Hunting Map to the Original Lease Agreement and to manage and maintain Area No. 8-A in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Original Lease Agreement; and, WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of continuing to encourage the safe and recreational use of Lake Crook property and deems it appropriate that such request from Archers for Christ be granted, and that Area 8-A be added to the premises covered by the Original Lease Agreement, and that the official map be amended to reflect such change; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the Official Third Amended Lake Crook Hunting District Map be, and the same is hereby, adopted.
