PROPOSITIONS FOR CHARTER AMENDMENTS <br />1, Replace all references to "electors" in the Charter with references to "qualified . <br />voters" or "voters" as appropriate. <br />^ For <br />^ Against <br />2. Add a new section to Article XII, "General Provisions," numbered appropriately, <br />"Non-gender specific," which shall read: <br />It is understood, wherever in this Charter an individual is referred to in the <br />male gender, it shall be recognized as refemng to either male or female. <br />^ For <br />^ Against <br />3. Amend the Charter to correct a typographical error in Section 33, "Procedure <br />for passage of ordinances," to replace an erroneous reference to Article X with a <br />correct reference to Article XI. . <br />^ For <br />^ Against <br />4. Amend Section 3, "Boundaries," to require the city to keep a current map, consistent <br />with state law, so that the section shall read: <br />The city shall maintain a current, accurate map of its boundaries in the manner <br />required by state law. <br />^ For ^ Against <br />
