Section 12. Solid waste disposal. <br />The city council shall have the right by ordinance to adopt and prescribe nleo f <br />and regulations for the handling, collection, transportation, and dispositio <br />all municipal, hazardous, and industrial solid waste, or other garbage, trash, <br />and rubbish within the City of Paris over which a city may exerand <br />jurisdiction under state law, and shall further have the right to fi f su h waste <br />compensation to be charged by or in the city for the removal o <br />garbage, trash and rubbish, providing rules and regulations for the collection <br />thereof. <br />^ For <br />^ Against <br />12. Delete Section 14, "Hospital: Operation," and Section .15, "Hospital: Finances," <br />because they are no longer relevant. <br />^ For ^ Against <br />13. Amend Section 16, "Number, selection, term," to clarify that term limits for cou not <br />members who are appointed to fill an unexpired term before being elected do <br />include the unexpired term, so that the fourth paragraph shall read: <br />The members of the city council shall serve not more than two consecutive <br />two-year terms, after which two years must pass before they are again eligibede <br />to serve on the council. Any unexpired term to which a member is appom <br />shall not be counted toward such consecutive terms. Members shall serve until <br />their successors have been elected and qualified. <br />^ For ^ Against <br />15.
