KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TeXAS <br />MONDA V, MARCH 5. 2007 <br />12:00 O'CLOCK P.M. <br /> <br />1. The Historic Preservation Commission meeting was called to order by <br />Chairman Arvin Starrett at 12:02 P.M. <br /> <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Arvin Starrett, Chairman <br />Paul Denney, Vice-Chairman <br />Susan Scholz, Secretary <br />Sharon Nabors <br />Ann Rogers <br />Pike Burkhart <br />Alternate: Brian Wear <br /> <br />The following members were absent: <br />Nancy Partridge <br />Alternate: Vanessa Preston <br /> <br />B. Also present was Bethany Golden, Main Street Manager. <br /> <br />2. Consideration of and action on the following Certificates of Appropriateness: <br /> <br />A. 824 S. Main Street - Diana Zablosky. Ms. Zablosky told the commission <br />she plans to paint, add new lighting fixtures, and replace the roof with <br />a composition roof. At a later date, she will be applying for a COA for <br />a fence. She will be moving from Honey Grove to Paris and will occupy <br />the house upon completion of renovations. <br /> <br />Mr. Starrett explained the composition roof will look like the old shake <br />roof that was originally on the structure. <br /> <br />Motion was made to approve the COA by Brian Wear, seconded by <br />Susan Scholz.
