<br />NOTICE TO BIDDERS <br /> <br />The City of Paris will receive sealed bids at the office of the City Manager, P.O. Box 9037, Paris, <br />Texas 75461-9037, for the furnishing and delivery of four (4) battery powered hydraulic lift <br />ambulance stretchers and all specified components. <br /> <br />This equipment is to be assigned to the Paris Emergency Medical Services Department. <br /> <br />Sealed bids shall be addressed to the Honorable Mayor and City Council, c/o Office of the City <br />Manager, P.O. Box 9037, Paris, Texas 75461-9037. <br /> <br />No bid shall be received later than 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 20,2007, at which time bids <br />received shall be publicly opened, tabulated and announced. <br /> <br />Bids will then be referred to the Mayor and City Council for consideration during the regular <br />council session on Monday, March 26,2007 starting at 6:00 P.M. <br /> <br />All bidders are requested to use the attached form in submitting their total quotes. If explanation <br />or additional room is needed, please use company letterhead and attach to our form. NO <br />EXCEPTIONS. Managers are urged to attach a business card to their bid form or fill out the <br />requested company information. <br /> <br />The contract may be awarded either to the lowest responsible bidder or to the bidder who <br />provides goods or services at the best value for the City of Paris. In determining best value for <br />the City, importance shall be placed on price, provision of the exact equipment specified, <br />warranty and maintenance, and some importance being placed on a reasonable delivery date. The <br />City of Paris reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, and to award <br />as may be advantageous to the City of Pairs. <br /> <br />Bidders shall note that a delivery time is included as a part of the formal bids. <br /> <br />No state or municipal sales tax is applicable to this purchase and will not be included in the cost. <br /> <br />Payment shall be made in full within fifteen (15) days after the stretcher is received and approved <br />and invoices for same have been furnished. <br /> <br />Janice Ellis, City Clerk <br /> <br />r.
