RESOLUTION N0. 2007-040 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING PHASE II OF THE WASTEWATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION GRADE SEPARATION OF US 82/US271 (NE LOOP 286) AT PINE MILL ROAD PROJECT; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, on June 27, 2005, the City Council of the City of Paris adopted Resolution No. 2005-073 supporting TxDOT's project for grade separation of US 82/US 271(NE Loop 286) at Pine Mill Road Proj ect in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by TxDOT; and, WHEREAS, Phase I of this project consisted of laying 1,230 feet of 18-inch sewer main to replace the existing clay-tile sewer main; and, WHEREAS, Phase II of the Wastewater System Improvements for this project will complete the relocation of the 18-inch sewer main and allow TxDOT to complete the installation of the storm sewer system; and, WHEREAS, this project will replace an existing eight-inch clay the sewer line that leaves Eastfield Estates Subdivision behind the Holiday Inn; and, WHEREAS, this project will also solve an odor problem that exists in the 3300 Block of Northeast Loop 286; and, WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interests of the citizens of Paris to approve Phase II of this project; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Paris does hereby authorize Phase II of the Wastewater System Improvements for the Texas Department of Transportation Pine Mill Road and Loop 286 NE Grade Separation Project and it is hereby approved. Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after the date of passage. PASSED AND APPROVED this 26`" day of March, 2007. r 'chard anning, Mayor.
