<br />DRAFT <br /> <br />f:attomeylreswork\current\Council Mtg Change Res <br />April!7, 2007 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, <br />APPROVING CHANGE OF COUNCIL MEETING DATE; MAKING OTHER <br />FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING <br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the 28th day of May, 2007 is the Memorial Day Holiday, which conflicts with the <br />regularly scheduled fourth Monday City Council meeting; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is deemed appropriate that the regular fourth Monday meeting of the City Council <br />scheduled for May 28,2007, be moved to Monday, May 21, 2007; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble of this resolution are hereby in all things <br />approved. <br /> <br />Section 2. That the regular fourth Monday meeting of the City Council scheduled for May 28, <br />2007, be, and the same is hereby, rescheduled for Monday, May 21,2007, at 6:00 o'clock P.M. <br /> <br />Section 3. That a copy of this Resolution be placed on the City Hall Bulletin Board giving notice <br />of the rescheduling of the regular fourth Monday of May Council meeting, and that the news media be <br />informed of the rescheduled date in the same manner they are informed of emergency City Council <br />meetings. <br /> <br />Section 4.
