<br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE <br />BUILDING AND STANDARDS COMMISSION <br />MONDAY, FEBRUARY 19, 2007 <br />4:00 O'CLOCK P.M. <br /> <br />1. Chad Brown called the Building and Standards Commission Meeting to order at 4:00 <br />P.M. <br /> <br />Roll was called. <br /> <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Chad Brown <br />Lucius Joe, Jr. <br />David Nabors <br />Vicki Ballard <br />Stephen Brown, Alternate <br /> <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />Brad Archer <br />Mary Crumpler <br />Harrell Tippitt <br />Chris Brown, Alternate <br />Zach Saffle, Alternate <br />Scott Scholz, Alternate <br /> <br />In the absence of Brad Archer, the Chainnan appointed Lucius Joe, Jr. as Acting Secretary <br />for the meeting. The Chainnan also stated that alternates would be acting in a voting <br />capacity for the purpose of the meeting. <br /> <br />2. Approval of Minutes of previous meeting: <br />A motion was made by David Nabors, seconded by Stephen Brown, to approve the meeting <br />minutes for December 18, 2006. The motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />3. Public Hearing to consider presentations by City of Paris Code Inspeetors and owner( s) <br />and/or lien holder(s) ofthe below properties who have been given notice of a violation <br />of Article III of Chapter 7 of the Code ofOrdinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, <br />entitled "Substandard and Dangerous Buildings and Structures": <br /> <br />C. 525 8'b Street S.E.; Lot I, City Block ll3 . John Bell stated that this property, <br />located across from Heritage Nursing Home, is under contract for sale to them and <br />will be used for parking. He requested a zoning change at next P & Z meeting in <br /> <br />l'"- '. <br />
