<br />~ <br /> <br />'''H-_' <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />93-041 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY <br />OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY <br />THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT <br />- RETAIL DISTRICT (Pd-a) ON LOT 7, CITY BLOCK 318, ON PROPERTY <br />BELONGING TO JAMES W. YANCEY, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY <br />FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A)j AND <br />DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE PLANNED DEVELOPHENT _ RETAIL <br />DISTRICT (Pd-a) SO ESTABLISHED, AND APPROVING SITE PLAN FOR SAME. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by <br />the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, <br />Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a <br />PLANNED DEVELOPMENT - RETAIL DISTRICT (Pd-a), be, and the same is <br />hereby established on LOT 7, CITY BLOCK 318, on property <br />belonging to JAMES W. YANCEY, so as to include in such PLANNED <br />DEVELOPMENT - RETAIL DISTRICT (Pd-a) the hereinafter described <br />property, which was formerly and is presently designated as an <br />AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A), and that the boundaries of said <br />PLANNED DEVELOPMENT - RETAIL DISTRICT (Pd-a), be, and the same <br />are hereby established as follows: <br /> <br />Situated within the corporate limits of the City <br />of Par is, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and <br />being all that certain tract of land situated in the <br />City of Parjs, Lamar County, Texas, a part of the <br />Joseph Leach Survey, Abstract No. 524 and being part of <br />a 25 acre tract of land conveyed to Bruce Ray by deed <br />recorded in Volume 260, Page 84 of the Lamar County <br />Deed Record~and being further described as follows: <br />BEGINNING at an iron pin found for corner in the <br />North Line of Loop Highway 286 the Southeast corner of <br />a 1.497 acre tract of land conveyed to Ross Ward by <br />deed recorded in Volume 246, Page 283 of the Lamar <br />County Real Rroperty Records; <br />THENCE North 10 41' East, a distance of 393.64 <br />feet to an iron pin found for corner, the Northeas t <br />corner of said 1.497 acre tract, in the South Line of <br />Center Street; <br />THENCE South 890 30' 15" East a distance of 205.9 <br />feet to an iron pin set for corner; <br />THENCE South ro 43' 30" West, a distance of 453.33 <br />feet to an iron pin for corner in the Nor th line of <br />Loop Highway 286; <br />THENCE North 730 13' 30" West with said North line <br />a distance of 212.86 feet to the place of beginning and <br />containing 2.00 acres of land. <br /> <br />Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of <br />the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the <br />Zoning Hap of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions <br />of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, <br />and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. <br /> <br />Section 3. The site plan of the property herein re-zoned, <br />which is attached hereto as Exhibit A, is approved. <br /> <br />Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in <br />conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br /> <br />Section 5.
