RESOLUTION N0.2007-065 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT N0. 1 TO THE ROUTINE AIRPORT MAINTENANCE PROGRAM (RAMP) GRANT AGREEMENT FOR TXDOT PROJECT N0. AM 2007 PARIS; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Texas Department of Transportation provides funding for Routine Airport Maintenance Program (RAMP) grants; and, WHEREAS, on the 8th, day of January, 2007, the City Council of the City of Paris approved Resolution No. 2007-006, accepting a grant award from the Texas Department of Transportation, Aviation Division, entitled "Grant for Routine Airport Maintenance Program" (RAMP) TxDOT Project No. AM 2007PARIS, in the total amount of $100,000.00, with the City of Paris providing $50,000.00 in matching funds; and, WHEREAS, the Airport Director has notified the Texas Department of Transportation that the City desires to modify the scope of services of the grant to now include herbicide treatment along airfield pavement, replacement of security cameras and related equipment, and installation of a gate sensor on the hangar entrance gate; and, WHEREAS, the form of Amendment No. O1 to the Scope of Services to the Grant Agreement for the 2007 RAMP grant, attached hereto as Exhibit A, should, in all things, be approved, and the Mayor should be authorized to execute the same; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble of this resolution are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That the form of Amendment No. 1 to the Scope of Services of the Grant Agreement for the "Grant for Routine Airport Maintenance Program," TxDOT Project No. AM2007PARIS, attached hereto as Exhibit A, be, and the same is hereby, approved. Section 3. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, Amendment No. 1, under the terms and conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A, attached hereto. Section 4. That this resolution shall be effective from and after the date of passage.
