RESOLUTION N0. 2007-078 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE BAND COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PARIS, MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the terms of office of T. R. "Randy" Bunch (Band Member), Ray Karrer, and Becky Semple (V&CC Member) as members of the Band Commission of the City of Paris, expired on June 30, 2007; and, WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris hereby recommends T. R. "Randy" Bunch (Band Member), Ray Karrer, and Becky Semple (V&CC Member) for terms of one (2) years, beginning July 1, 2007, and ending June 30, 2009, and has submitted the names of such persons to the City Council for confirmation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That the City Council has received and reviewed the recommendations of the Mayor for the Band Commission and hereby approves and appoints the following persons to serve on the Band Commission. Section 3. That the reappointments of T. "Randy" Bunch, Ray Karrer, and Becky Semple as members of the Band Commission of the City of Paris for terms of two (2) year, beginning approximately July 1, 2007, and ending June 30, 2009, be, and the same are hereby, confirmed. Section 4. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage. PASSED AND APPROVED this 23rd day of July,~007.
