RESOLUTION N0. 2007-081 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD OF THE CITY OF PARIS; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the terms of office of Bill Kennedy, Eddie Poole, and Jake Street, as members of the Library Advisory Board of the City of Paris, expired on June 30, 2007; and, WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the reappointments of Bill Kennedy and Eddie Pool and the appointment of Linda Vandiver for terms of three (3) years, beginning July 1, 2007, and ending June 30, 2010; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS. Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That the City Council has received and reviewed the recommendations of the Mayor for the Library Advisory Board of the City of Paris and hereby approves and appoints the following persons to serve on the Library Advisory Board. Section 3. That Bill Kennedy and Eddie Poole be, and they are hereby, reappointed and that Linda Vandiver be, and she is hereby, appointed to serve as members of the Library Advisory Board of the City of Paris for terms of three (3) years, beginning approximately July 1, 2007, and ending June 30, 2010. Section 4. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage. PASSED AND APPROVED this 23rd day of July, 2007.
