<br />RESOLUTION NO.
<br />
<br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
<br />TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION
<br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PARIS, MAKING OTHER FINDINGS
<br />AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING FOR
<br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the terms of office of Paul Denney (Architect), Ann R. Rogers (Member-At-
<br />Large), Arvin W. Starrett (Historical Society), and Pike Burkhart (Main Street Board), as members
<br />of the Historic Preservation Commission of the City of Paris, did expire on July 31, 2007; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the term of office of Brian Wear, as an alternate member of the Historic
<br />Preservation Commission of the City of Paris, did expire on July 31, 2007; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the (re )appointment of
<br />[NAME(S)] [and the appointment of [NAME(S)]], as members, and the appointment of [NAME],
<br />as an alternate member, for terms of two (2) years, beginning approximately August 1,2007, and
<br />ending July 31, 2009];

<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
<br />OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS:
<br />
<br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things
<br />approved.
<br />
<br />Section 2. That [NAME(S)] be, and (he/she/they) (is/are) hereby, reappointed, and that
<br />[NAME(S)] be, and (he/she/they) (is/are) hereby, appointed to serve as members of the Historic
<br />Preservation Commission of the City of Paris for terms of two (2) years, beginning approximately
<br />August 1, 2007, and ending July 31, 2009.
<br />
<br />Section 3. That [NAME] be, and (he/she) is hereby, (re )appointed to serve as an alternate
<br />member of the Historic Preservation Commission of the City of Paris for a term of two (2) years,
<br />beginning approximately August 1,2007, and ending July 31, 2009.
<br />
<br />Section 4. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
<br />
