<br />DRAFT <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />f:attorney\reswork\current\PEDC Budgert Appr 2007-2008 <br />August 21, 2007 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />TEXAS, ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE PARIS ECONOMIC <br />DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR <br />OCTOBER 1,2007, TO SEPTEMBER 30, 2008; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS <br />AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Paris Economic Development Corporation has presented its budget for the <br />fiscal year beginning October 1,2007, and ending September 30,2008; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate that said budget, attached hereto as Exhibit A, be accepted and <br />approved; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF PARIS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things <br />approved. <br /> <br />Section 2. That the proposed budget for the Paris Economic Development Corporation, for <br />the fiscal year beginning October 1,2007 and ending September 30,2008 be, and the same is hereby, <br />accepted and approved. <br /> <br />Section 3.
