RESOLUTION N0. 2007-111 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE TRAFFIC COMMISSION TO SERVE THE UNEXPIRED TERM OF MARY LANE WALTHALL, WHICH EXPIRES JUNE 30, 2010; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership of the Traffic Commission of the City of Paris due to the resignation of Mary Lane Walthall, and it is necessary to appoint her successor; and, WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the appointment of Matt Frierson to serve the unexpired term of Mary Lane Walthall, which ends June 30, 2010; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That Matt Frierson be, and he is hereby, appointed to serve the unexpired term of Mary Lane Walthall, which ends June 30, 2010, as a member of the Traffic Commission of the City of Paris. Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
