Contractor must give DSHS and the State of Texas, as well as any person <br />designated by DSHS and the State of Texas, all assistance required to perfect the <br />rights defined herein without chazge or expense beyond those amounts payable to <br />Contractor for goods provided or services rendered under this Contract. <br />(c) If federal funds aze used to finance activities supported by this Contract that <br />result in the production of intellectual property, the federal awarding agency <br />reserves aroyalty-free, nonexclusive, and irrevocable license to reprod ent <br />publish, or otherwise use, and to authorize others to use, for feder dgunder this <br />purposes (1) the copyright in any intellectual property develope t to which a <br />Contract, including any subcontract and (2) any nghts of copyngh <br />Contractor purchases ownership with contract funds. Contractor shall submit requests for review and approval to the Divis <br />Contract Management Unit assigned to the Program Attachment. <br />Section 13.06 Other Intangible Property. At the conclusion of the contractun~ <br />relationship between Department and the Contractor, for any reason, D n ~ ble <br />tab/ <br />shall have the sole ownership rights and interest in all non-copyngh as a s ecific <br />property that was developed, produced or obtained by Contractor p <br />requirement under the Contract or under any grant that funds this Contract, s t hanads <br />domain names, URLs, etc. Contractor shall cooperate with Departure to the <br />perform all actions necessary to transfer ownership of ,such prop rty <br />Department or its designee, or otherwise affirm Department s ownership rights and <br />interest in such property.
