Resolution suspending the effective date of Atmos Energy's requested <br />rate increase for the maximum period permitted by law to allow the City <br />time to evaluate the filing, determine whether the filing complies with <br />law, and if lawful, to determine what further strategy, including <br />settlement, to pursue. <br /> <br />B. Approving a professional services contract for groundwater monitoring <br />and testing at the Stillhouse Road Landfill between the City of Paris and <br />Weaver Boos Consultants, LLC. <br /> <br />C. Rescinding the award of the 2007 Curb & Gutter Contract to C & <br />Construction because of their inability to obtain bonding, and awarding <br />the 2007 Curb & Gutter Contract for the replacement of concrete curb & <br />gutters, driveways and sidewalks in the City of Paris to Hilliard & Sons <br />Contractors, Inc., the next lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />D. Authorizing the execution of an agreement with the Texas Department <br />of Transportation (TxDOT) for the temporary closure of certain portions <br />of state right-of-way to wit: Main Street, Clarksville, Grand, and Lamar <br />Ave in the downtown area, in support of the 2007 Festival of Pumpkins. <br /> <br />10. Possible future agenda items. <br /> <br />11. Consider and approve future events for City Council and/or City Staff pursuant <br />to Resolution No. 2004-081. <br /> <br />12.
