<br />DRAFT <br /> <br />f:attomeylreswork\current\Request to Place Item of Agenda Res <br />October 8, 2007 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />TEXAS, ESTABLISHING A PROCEDURE AND APPROVING A FORM TO <br />BE USED FOR CITIZEN REQUESTS TO APPEAR BEFORE THE <br />COUNCIL; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO <br />THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, Texas desires to establish a procedure and <br />a form to be used to implement requests from citizens to appear before the City Council; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in order to simplify the manner in which citizens are placed on the agenda to <br />appear before the City Council to present constructive input, the procedure and form to be used <br />should be approved. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF PARIS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things <br />approved. <br /> <br />Section 2. That the form and procedure to be used for citizen requests to appear before the <br />City Council of the City of Paris attached hereto in the form of Exhibit "A" attached hereto, be and <br />is hereby in all things approved and established. <br /> <br />Section 3.
