RESOLUTION N0. 2007-128 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, NOMINATING CANDIDATES FOR MEMBERSHIP ON THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE LAMAR COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has been asked to nominate a candidate for membership on the Board of Directors of the Lamar County Appraisal District; and, WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of nominating Jim Noble, Vicki Ballard, Bruce Hood, and Don Wall; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That Jim Noble, Vicki Ballard, Bruce Hood, and Don Wall be, and they are hereby, nominated to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of the Lamar County Appraisal District for a two (2) year term beginning January 1, 2008. Section 3. That the City Clerk, be, and she is hereby, directed to timely deliver a copy of this Resolution to the Lamar County Appraisal District. Section 4. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage. PASSED AND APPROVED this 12th day of October, 2007.
