Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />M. 61114th Street N.E.; Lot 6, Block 3, Hicks pt Addition - Motion was made by <br />Vicki Ballard, seconded by David Nabors, to allow 30 days to demolish. If the <br />property is not demolished within 30 days, the City may demolish, with a $1000 per <br />day civil penalty. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />O. 1270 17th Street N.E.; Lot 9, Block A, Willshire Addition - Skipped, will have to <br />renotice, address should be 1270 17th Street S.E. <br /> <br />4. Status report related to properties on which the Commission has previously issued <br />orders. Lisa Wright reported that she had received two estimates on the demolition of Cas a <br />Bonita, and that the demolition cost, when added with the landfill cost, could reach close to <br />$1,000,000. She reminded the Commission that she had been holding on to the balance of <br />the demolition funds budgeted in the event they might be needed to help tear down the <br />buildings; however, she stated that, what was left in the budget would not make a dent in the <br />total cost, so she was going to go ahead and prepare the packet to start taking bids for city- <br />wide demolitions. She advised that the Commission should start seeing tear downs again <br />within the next 30 to 60 days. <br /> <br />5.
