<br />MINUTES <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY OF PARIS BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />CITY OF PARIS - CITY HALL <br />COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />107 E. KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS. TEXAS <br />MONDAY. JULY 16. 2007 <br />3:00 O'CLOCK P.M. <br /> <br />1. The Board of Adjustment meeting was called to order by Chairman Terry <br />Christian at 3:00 p.m. <br /> <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Terry Christian <br />Kyle McCarley <br />Rodney Bass <br />Chester Martindale <br /> <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />Howard Corriston <br />Alternates: David Glass <br />Louis Yates <br /> <br />C. Also present was Lisa A. Wright, Community Development Director. <br /> <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meetings. Motion to approve the minutes <br />of the April 10, 2007, meeting was made by Rodney Bass, seconded by <br />Chester Martindale. Motion carried 4-0. <br /> <br />3. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Bee Hive Homes to grant a variance <br />of Zoning Ordinance No. 1710, Section 9-701(1), to modify the required side <br />yard setback from 25' to 10~ which would be a 15' variance, on Lot 14 A-5, <br />Block 259, being number 2990 Pine Mill Road. <br /> <br />Paul Vincent, Owner, Bee Hive Homes, stated that, even with a revised <br />setback, the building will still be 25' from the curb. <br /> <br />4. Consideration of and action on the petition of Bee Hive Homes to gant a <br />variance of Zoning Ordinance No. 1710, Section 9-701(1), to modify the <br />required side yard setback from 25' to 10~ which would be a 15' variance, on <br />Lot 14 A-5, Block 259, being number 2990 Pine Mill Road. Motion made by <br />Chester Martindale, seconded by Kyle McCarley, to approve the variance <br />request. Motion carried 4-0. <br /> <br />5. The meeting adjourned at 3:25 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVED THIS 23RD DAY OF AUGUST, 2007. <br /> <br />Terry Christian, Chairman <br />
