<br />ORDINANCE NO. 96-039 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT <br />ORDINANCE NO. 96-027 PASSED AND ADOPTED ON THE 13th DA Y OF MAY, 1996, AND <br />ORDINANCES NO. 96-033 AND NO. 96-035 PASSED AND ADOPTED ON THE 10TH DAY <br />OF JUNE, 1996, BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE PREAMBLE, AND SECTION 1 OF SAID <br />ORDINANCES; AND AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE <br />ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DlSTRICT- <br />RETAIL SHOPPING CENTER (PD-a) ON LOTS t, 2, 3 AND 4, CITY BLOCK 257-D ON <br />PROPERTY BELONGING TO ESTELLA VEACH, LEWIS A. CARRINGTON, GEORGE T. <br />JENNISON AND LOIS C. LAY, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY <br />DESIGNATED AS A ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (SF-2); DESIGNATING THE <br />BOUNDARIES OF THE PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT - RETAIL SHOPPING <br />CENTER (PD-a) SO ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING FOR 40 FOOT FRONT YARD ADJACENT <br />TO THE EAST SIDE OF COLLEGIATE DRIVE AND PROVIDING FOR A 10 FOOT BACK <br />YARD ADJACENT TO THE WEST BOUNDARY LINE OF 28TH STREET N.E., ON LOTS <br />1,2,3 AND 4, CITY BLOCK 257-D, LOTS 1,2,3 AND 4, BLOCK 7, AND LOTS 1, 2, 3,4, <br />5, 6 AND 7, BLOCK 8 OF THE SPRINGLAKE ADDITION, BEING ON ALL LOTS <br />BETWEEN CHERRY AND PRICE STREETS FRONTING ON THE EAST SIDE OF <br />COLLEGIATE DRIVE, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO ESTALLA VEACH, LEWIS A. <br />CARRINGTON, GEORGE T. JENNISON LOIS C. LAY, HARLOW S. REDDING, AUDREY <br />RECLA, DAVID BELL, MARGARET GARRETT MOORE, DAVID GLASS, EDITH DUNN, <br />MARCUS J. HUGHES, L. M. HUTCHINGS, CITY OF PARIS, AND ODlS NORTHAM; <br />PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL <br />ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING <br />FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF AUGUST 1, 1996." <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the preamble and Section 1 of Ordinance No. 96-027 AND 96-033 of the <br />City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so that such shall read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and <br />Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, <br />and that a PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT - RETAIL SHOPPING CENTER (PD-a) <br />be, and the same is hereby, established on LOTS 1,2,3 AND 4, CITY BLOCK 257-D, on <br />property belonging to ESTELLA VEACH, LEWIS A. CARRINGTON, GEORGE T. <br />JENNISON AND LOIS C. LAY, so as to include in such PLANNED DEVELOPMENT <br />DISTRICT - RETAIL SHOPPING CENTER (PD-a) the hereinafter described property, which <br />was formerly and is presently designated as a ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (SF-2), <br />and that the boundaries of said PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT - RETAIL <br />SHOPPING CENTER (PD-a), be, and the same are hereby, established as follows: <br /> <br />SITUATED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, <br />County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and being Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4, City <br />Block 257-0, located in the 300 Block of 28th Street N.E; <br /> <br />AND PROVIDING FOR 40 FOOT FRONT YARD ADJACENT TO THE EAST SIDE OF <br />COLLEGIATE DRIVE AND PROVIDING FOR A 10 FOOT BACK YARD ADJACENT TO <br />THE WEST BOUNDARY LINE OF 28TH STREET N.E., ON LOTS 1,2,3 AND 4, CITY <br />BLOCK 257-0, LOTS 1,2,3 AND 4, BLOCK 7, AND LOTS I, 2, 3,4,5, 6 AND 7, <br />BLOCK 8 OF THE SPRINGLAKE ADDITION, BEING ON ALL LOTS BETWEEN <br />CHERRY AND PRICE STREETS FRONTING ON THE EAST SIDE OF COLLEGIATE <br />DRIVE on property belonging to ESTELLA VEACH. LEWIS A. CARRINGTON, GEORGE <br />T. JENNISON, LOIS C. LAY, HARLOW S. REDDING, AUDREY RECLA, DAVID BELL, <br />MARGARET GARRETT MOORE, DAVID GLASS, EDITH DUNN, MARCUS 1. HUGHES, <br />L. M. HUTCHINGS, CITY OF PARIS, AND ODIS NORTHAM." <br /> <br />Section 2. That the zoning herein granted is conditioned upon the submission of a Site Plan <br />in accordance with Section 8-302 of Ordinance No. 1710, which after full compliance with the <br />procedure established in Section 21 of said Ordinance No. 1710, must be approved by the City Council <br />prior to the issuance of any building permits. <br /> <br />T r r'- <br />
