<br />Draft <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />TEXAS, APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE PLANNING AND ZONING <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PARIS TO SERVE THE UNEXPIRED <br />TERM OF BOBBY L. MYERS, WHICH ENDS DECEMBER 31, 2009; <br />MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE <br />SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />f:attorney\reswork\current\Apptment P&Z Unexpired Term 2007 <br />December 4, 2007 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership of the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission due to the resignation of Bobby 1. Myers, and it is necessary to appoint his successor; <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the appointment of Bill <br />Harris to serve the unexpired term of Bobby L. Myers, which ends December 31, 2009. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF PARIS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things <br />approved. <br /> <br />Section 2. That Bill Harris be, and he is hereby, appointed to serve the unexpired term of <br />Bobby L. Myers, which ends December 31, 2009, as a member of the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission of the City of Paris. <br /> <br />Section 3.
