NOVEMBER 13. 2007 <br />12:00 O'CLOCK P.M. <br /> <br />1. The Board of Adjustment meeting was called to order by Chairman Terry <br />Christian at 12:00 p.m. <br /> <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Terry Christian <br />Kyle McCarley <br />Rodney Bass <br />Chester Martindale <br />Howard Corriston <br />David Glass <br /> <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />Alternates: Louis Vates <br /> <br />C. Also present was Lisa A. Wright, Community Development Director. <br /> <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meetings. Motion to approve the minutes <br />of the August 23, 2007, meeting was made by David Glass, seconded by Kyle <br />McCarley. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />3. Public hearing to consider the petition of Alpha Lake, Ltd. to grant a variance <br />of Zoning Ordinance No. 1710, Section 10-102, to modify the required parking <br />from one space for every 200 square feet of Shopping Center building floor <br />area to one space for every 250 square feet of Shopping Center building floor <br />area on Lots 3 and 4 and part of Lot 6B, City Block 287, being number 3552 <br />Lamar A venue (Mirabeau Square Shopping Center). <br /> <br />Public hearing was declared open. <br /> <br />Leroy Snow - Mirabeau Square Shopping Center - spoke in favor of the <br />petition. <br /> <br />Public hearing declared closed <br /> <br />4. Consideration of and action on the petition of Alpha Lake, Ltd. to grant a <br />variance of Zoning Ordinance No. 1710, Section 10-102, to modify the required <br />parking from one space for every 200 square feet of Shopping Center building <br />floor area to one space for every 250 square feet of Shopping Center building <br />floor area on Lots 3 and 4 and part of Lot 6B, City Block 287, being number <br />3552 Lamar A venue (Mirabeau Square Shopping Center). Lisa Wright stated <br />have never complied, working to clean up record. Motion was made to <br />approve parking variance by Chester Martindale, seconded by David Glass. <br />Motion carried 6-0. <br />
