City of Paris April 03, 2007 <br />Tomado-damaged Apartments 23 buildings Page 4 <br />Paris, Texas <br />METHOD OF REMOVAL• <br />DTECH has based our bid on performing the work per federal, state, and local <br />guidelines throughout the abatement process and the specifications prepared by <br />a state licensed consultant. DTECH to provide state licensed personnel with <br />current training and medical exams for working with asbestos materials. <br />Personnel to don negative pressure respirators or Powered Air Purifying <br />Respirators with full eye protection depending on the type of material and <br />airborne fiber levels anticipated. Personnel shall also be provided with <br />disposable suits, rubber boots, gloves, rubber gloves, safety glasses, hard hats, <br />respirator disinfectants, and hearing protection as needed for each project. <br />PROJECT DURATION: <br />Project duration (Abatement 8 Demolition) <br />including mobilization and demobilization. <br />Monday - Friday, (Saturday if necessary) fro <br />subject to change. <br />is estimated at 65 working days <br />DTECH's work schedule will be <br />m 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Times are <br />WASTE TRANSPORT - DISPOSAL: <br />Asbestos wastes generated to be packaged, labeled, manifested, transported <br />and disposed of by DTECH for the owner at an EPA / TDSHS approved landfill <br />set forth by City of Paris. <br />COMPENSATION FOR SERVICES: <br />Mobilization / Project Setup / 2 Final Reports <br />Asbestos Abatement Services / Scope of Work <br />(Labor, Equipment, Materials, Insurance's, Overhead, Profit) <br />Asbestos Waste Manifest, Transport Disposal <br />OSHA Sampling . <br />Demolition of slab and affected parlcing lot <br />Total Lump Sum Base Bid: $371,097.00 <br />"Asbestos abatement is tax exempt per the Texas sales and use tax <br />section 151.0048(a)(3)(A) of the Texas Tax Code. DTECH pays sales tax <br />on materials. <br />City will pay for dumping fees at local accepting landfill of their choosing. <br />
