Old Casa Bonita Apartnients, Paris, Texas <br />1. Introduction <br />Brady Environmental Services, Inc. was commissioned by Ms. Lisa Wriglrt of the City of <br />Paris to perform an asbestos inspection of two apartment buildings of the old Casa Bonita <br />Apartment complex in Paris, Texas. The asbestos inspection was performed on June 13, <br />2006 by Mr. David Gable of Brady Environmental Services, Inc. <br />Site work included a cazeful review of all interior and exterior building materials. All <br />work was performed in accordance with tlie Texas Asbestos Health Protection Rules and <br />applicable OSHA and EPA rules goveming asbestos. Bulk samples were collected in a <br />statistically random manner and in an effort to minimize visual damage to suspect <br />building materials. <br />During the inspection bulk samples were collected from building materials identified by <br />the EPA as having a potential asbestos content. All samples were submitted to Cates <br />Laboratory in Forney, Texas, for analysis by Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM) in <br />accordance with EPA test method 600/R-93/116.
