~ ORDINANCE N0. 93-041 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGIIdG THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT - RETAIL DISTRICT (Pd-a) ON LOT 7, CITY BLOCK 318, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO JAMES W. YANCEY, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A); AND DESIGNATING THE BO[JNDARIES OF THE PLANNED DEVELOPMENT - RETAIL DISTRICT (Pd-a) SO ESTABLISHED, AND APPROVING SITE PLAN FOR SAME. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PAR1S: Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a PLANNED DEVELOPMENT - RETAIL DISTRICT (Pd-a), be, and the same is heieby established on LOT 7, CITY BLOCK 318, on property belonging to JAMES W. YANCEY, so as to include in 'such PLANNED DEVELOPMEIVT - RETAIL DISTRICT (Pd-a) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as an AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A), and that the boundaries of said PLANNED DEVELOPMENT - RETAIL DISTRICT (Pd-a), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and being all that certain tract of land situated in the City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, a part of the Joseph Leach Survey, Abstract No. 524 and being-part of a 25 acre tract of land conveyed to Bruce Ray by deed recorded in Volume 260, Page 84 of the Larnar County Deed Record's and being further desciibed as 'follows: BEGINNING at an iron pin found for corner in the North Line of Loop Highway 286 the Southeast corner of a 1.497 acre tract of land conveyed to Ross Ward by deed recorded in Volume 246, Page 283 of the Lamar County Keal Property Records; THENCE North 10 41' East, a distance of 393.64 feet to an iron pin found for corner, the Northeast corner of said 1.497 acre tract, in the South Line of Center Street; THENCE South 890 30' 15" East a distance of 205.9 feet to an iron pin set for corner; THENCE South 1° 43' 30" West, a distance of 453.33 feet to an iron pin for corner in the North line of Loop Highway 286; THENCE North 730 13' 30" West with said North line a distance of 212.86 feet to the place of beginning anc conta'ining 2.00 acres of land. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accoidance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. The site plan of the property herein re-zoned, which is attached hereto as Exhibit A, is approved. Section 4. Al1 ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 5. This ordinancE sha11 become effective immediately upon passage.
