~ 04
L ePb ti~ ~X>~-2
~ .
1}. > %
.a
This is facing west to 8`" S. E. Street on the abandoned
railroad corridor. These railroad railings and ties will be
removed. The ballast will be left intact providing a great
trail base and excellent drainage for this section of the
new trail (12 ft. wide asphalt with 2 ft. crushed gravel
shoulders). Like the Trail de Paris this corridor is
aesthetically lined with trees and shrubs.
These railroad railings cross ties, and debris that will be
removed from the corridor.
This is 8`" S.E. Street facing west. The west expansion
project will end here with future plans to continue to
expand into west and north Paris. The 8'" S.E. Street
trailhead will include regulatory and trail rules signage,
safety bollards, and a litter receptacle. Rest/observation
benches will be strategically placed along this extension
section. This project is literally the gateway to the west,
as it will span the two critical obstacles in its path.
G+
