k -
-
Looking east at the current west end Trail de Paris
trailhead at 12`h S.E. Street, notice regulatory signage,
safety bollards, and litter receptacle.
Now, looking west from west end of Trail de Paris
trailhead and across 12th S.E. Street a minor image of
the trailheads regulatory signage (stop sign and trail
rules), safety bollards (middle one removable), 12 ft.
wide asphalt trail with 2 ft. crushed gravel shoulders
will be installed. Crossing strips on 12th Street and
traffic calming will be added. Just beyond the wooden
bollards is the old flood control creek that the removed
railroad bridge spanned. The trail extension will
continue 0.29 miles west to 8`h S.E. Street.
This is a side view looking at the old flood control
ditch. The project will span it with a 60" RCP culvert,
stone rip/rap and fill dirt.
