Box 718
Mount Vemon, Texaa 75457
The Franklin County Sheriffls Office is in the opinion that the Northeast Texas Auto
Theft Task Force is a task force that has earned it's funding each and every year. Every
time we have called upon the Northeast Texas Auto Theft Task Force, they have shown
the commitment to provide the vest service to out community and to our department.
The Northeast Texas Auto Task Force members have the knowledge and experience that
our department does not have. If these assets were not available to the Franklin County
Sheriffls Office, we would have to look elsewhere. This would greatly hinder our
investigations and apprehension of the subjects responsible for the crime. The Franklin
County Sheriff's Office has come to rely upon their assistance.
The funding for the Northeast Texas Auto Task Force is important to our department and
is a need in our community. One should not be concerned that they are getting something
for the funding of this task force. Northeast Texas Auto Theft Task Force has always
earned the funding they were given and any funding they will receive in the future. The
Franklin County Sheriff's Office encourages the funding agency continue to fund the
Northeast Texas Auto, not only for the communities in Northeast Texas but as for the
State of Texas.
Sincerely,
Charles J.
