The overall percent asbestos for the sample is ttported when relevant. The EPA considers a maurial to be asbestos containing <br />only if it contains greater than one percent asbestos by Calibrated Visusl Area Fstimation (CVAE). EPA regulations also indicate that Regulated Asbestos Containing <br />Meterisls (RACM) - materials that are friable or may become friable - be further analyud by point counting when tle results indicate less tMan ten percent asbestos by <br />CVAE.
