(Attachment) <br />ATPA-7 <br />DETECTIVE SERGEANT <br />Force <br />The Detective Sergeant will be in charge of f f Police, Par spTexasn and be subjectht Taskuch orders <br />and shall be subject to the supervision of the Chie <br />as the Chief of Police may prescribe, not inconsistent with the laws of the State of Texas or the mandates <br />of the Texas Auto Theft Prevention Authority. <br />He shall devote his full time to his official duties unless granted leave by the Chief of Police. His <br />responsibilities shall be: <br />1) Supervise the Task Force in all its operations. <br />2) Keep the proper records and be responsible for the maintenance of all reports to the State <br />of Texas and Chief of Police. or agency in a cooperative effort to prevent <br />3) Work with every responsible, legitimate group <br />auto theft by educating the public and officers. <br />4) Work diligently and relentlessly in the investigation of and pursuit of all crimes invotving the <br />theft of automobiles. <br />5) Enforce all laws retating to the theft of automobiles. <br />Assist in the prosecution of all those charged with the crime of auto theft or other related <br />crimes. , <br />Ar!pT[fA 0 <br />
