RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />TEXAS; NOMINATING KEVIN CARRUTH FOR PLACE 2 ON THE TEXAS <br />MUNICIPAL LEAGUE INTERGOVERNMENTAL RISK POOL BOARD OF <br />TRUSTEES; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED <br />TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Texas Municipal League Intergovernmental Risk Pool (TML-IRP) provides <br />the City of Paris and other units of local government with comprehensive liability, property, and <br />workers' compensation insurance and loss prevention services; and; <br />WHEREAS, TML-IRP is governed by a board of trustees comprised of employees or officials <br />of the governing body of a Employer Member of TML-IRP; and, <br />WHEREAS, TML-IRP is seeking nominations for qualified candidates to serve on the Board <br />of Trustees; and, <br />WHEREAS, City Manager Kevin Carruth is a qualified candidate with extensive experience <br />using and promoting TML-IRP and its services; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Carruth desires to serve TML-IRP and the Board of Trustees and can make <br />contributions to help make both successful; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TfIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF PARIS, TEXAS: <br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things <br />approved. <br />Section 2.
