<br />ORDINANCE NO. 2002-019 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP - NE <br />AREA OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, BE <br />AMENDED BY CHANGING THE ZONING FROM MODERATE DENSITY <br />RESIDENTIAL TO RETAIL COMMERCIAL ON LOT 2, CITYBLOCK317- <br />A, BEING LOCATED IN THE 4100 BLOCK OF PINE MILL ROAD; <br />REPEALING ALL ORDINANCE OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN <br />CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 6th day of <br />September, 2001, in Ordinance No. 2001-054, adopt a Comprehensive Plan; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 7th day of March, <br />2002, in Ordinance No. 2002-012, change the zoning from an Agricultural District (A) to a <br />Commercial District (C) on Lot 2, City Block 317-A, being located in the 4100 block of Pine Mill <br />Road; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as a condition upon such re-zoning, the City Council directed that the <br />Comprehensive Plan be amended to reflect same; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the requirements of Section 213.003 of the Texas Local <br />Government Code, a hearing on the proposed amendment was held before the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission on the 1 st day of April, 2002, and it was the recommendation of the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission, after such hearing and a review of the proposed amendment, that the <br />Comprehensive Plan be amended to reflect such re-zoning; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this ordinance are hereby in all things <br />approved. <br /> <br />Section 2. That the Future Land Use Map - NE Area of the Comprehensive Plan, City of <br />Paris, Texas, be amended by changing the zoning from Moderate Density Residential to Retail <br />Commercial or Lot 2, City Block 317-A, being located in the 4100 block of Pine Mill Road. <br /> <br />Sectio 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly <br />repealed. <br /> <br />Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective upon its date of passage. <br />
