<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2002-067 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF <br />AMENDMENT NO. 01 TO THE ROUTINE AIRPORT MAINTENANCE <br />PROGRAM (RAMP) GRANT, TXDOT PROJECT NO. AM 2002P ARIS, FOR <br />ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR NEEDED ELECTRICAL REPAIRS AND <br />OTHER MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS OF WORK; MAKING OTHER <br />FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND <br />PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 14th day of May, <br />2001, in Resolution No. 2001-069, accept the grant award for the "Grant for Routine Airport <br />Maintenance Program," TxDOT Project No. AM2001P ARIS, in the total amount of$l 0,000.00, with <br />the City of Paris providing $5,000.00 in matching funds; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary that the City of Paris perform electrical work at Hangar Hand <br />other items of miscellaneous work at Cox Field Airport, and it is necessary to amend the aforesaid <br />grant to request additional funding; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris deems it to be in the best interests of the <br />citizens of Paris to execute Amendment No. 01 to the Grant for Routine Airport Maintenance <br />Program, providing for funding in the total amount of $8,300.00, with the local cash match being <br />$4,150.00; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things <br />approved. <br /> <br />Section 2. That Amendment No. 01 to the Grant for Routine Airport Maintenance Program <br />with the Texas Department of Transportation, TxDOT Project No. AM 2002P ARIS, in the total <br />amount of $8,300.00, requiring a matching cash contribution of $4,150.00, be, and the same is <br />hereby, approved. <br /> <br />Section 3. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute, on behalf <br />ofthe City of Paris, Amendment No. 01 to the Grant for Routine Airport Maintenance Program, <br />under the terms and conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A, attached hereto. <br /> <br />Section 4. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage. <br />
