Section 3. That on or before August 13, 2008, actual written notice of the Citys intent <br />to disannex the aforesaid area shall be mailed to each property owner in said area proposed for <br />disannexation; to each public entity, including, but not limited to Lamar County, the appropriate <br />school districts as well as any and all other public entities which will have to assume <br />responsibility for certain public services following the aforesaid disannexation; and to each <br />railroad company, if any, that serves the municipality if part of the company's right-of-way is in <br />the area proposed for disannexation. <br />Section 4. That the first public hearing regarding said proposed disannexation shall <br />be conducted by City Council at its special called meeting on September 15, 2008, with notice of <br />said public hearing to be carried on the City's internet website and to be published at least once <br />in the Paris News within the time frame beginning, August 26, 2008, and ending September 4, <br />2008. <br />Section 5. That the second public hearing regarding said proposed disannexation <br />shall be conducted by City Council at a its regular meeting on September 22, 2008, with notice <br />of said public hearing to be carried on the Cit/,s internet website and to be published at least <br />once in the Paris News between the time frame beginning September 2, 2008, and ending <br />September 11, 2008. <br />Section 6. That City Council shall consider an ordinance calling for the disannexation <br />of the aforesaid described tract at City Council's regular meeting of October 20, 2008. <br />Section 7.
