CITY COUNCIL AMENDED AGENDA <br />Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Paris shall meet in special session <br />on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the City Council <br />Chamber, 107 E. Kaufman Street in Paris, Texas. The matters to be discussed and acted <br />upon are as follows: <br />Opening Agenda <br />l. Call meeting to order. <br />2. Invocation. <br />3. Pledge of Allegiance. <br />Regular Agenda <br />1. Convene into Executive Session pursuant to Section 551.087 of the <br />Texas Government Code to discuss and deliberate an offer of a <br />financial or other incentive to a business prospect to locate, stay, or <br />expand in Paris and consider any commercial and financial <br />information related to the business prospect. <br />2. Reconvene in open session to deliberate and act on matters <br />discussed in Executive Session. <br />3. Deliberate on Fiscal Year 2008-2009 Budget. <br />4. Deliberate and act on a resolution calling two public hearings to <br />receive public comment on the City's proposal to increase total tax <br />revenues. <br />5. Deliberate and act on a resolution to call for a vote on the tax rate <br />for tax year 2008. <br />6. Deliberate on possible future agenda items. <br />7.
