RESOLUTION NO. 2008-067 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PROCUREMENT OF EASEMENTS FOR THE WEST WASHINGTON SEWER LINE REPLACEMENT PROJECT LOCATED IN THE 700 BLOCK OF WEST WASHINGTON STREET AREA; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has undertaken a construction project entitled West Washington Sewer Line Replacement Project located in the vicinity of the 700 block of West Washington Street area to replace a 15" sanitary sewer line in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by Hayter Engineering, Inc.; and, WHEREAS, certain utility easements, as further described and depicted in Exhibit A attached hereto, must be acquired for this project; and, WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the above-described utility easements are necessary for said sewer line improvement project and that the same should be procured; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That the City Attorney and the City Engineer are hereby authorized and directed to proceed to procure the above described property to be used for the West Washington Sewer Line Replacement Project. City Manager is hereby authorized to negotiate and execute any and all necessary documents. Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after the date of passage.
