<br />intersection of US 82 and Business US 271-B; thence in a southeasterly direction from the <br />intersection of Business US 82 and US 82 a distance of approximately 0.306 miles, the speed limit <br />shall be fifty-five (55) miles per hour at all times; thence southeasterly a distance of approximately <br />1.560 miles, the speed limit shall be sixty (60) miles per hour at all times; thence in a southerly <br />direction a distance of approximately 1.130 miles, the speed limit shall be sixty-five (65) miles per <br />hour at all times as Authorized by Transportation Commission Minute ; thence 2.202 <br />miles in a southeasterly direction to the southeast city limit of Paris, the speed limit shall be seventy <br />(70) miles per hour daytime and sixty-five (65) miles per hour nighttime at all times as Authorized <br />by the Transportation Commission Minute ; as evidenced by the attached plan which is <br />hereby approved and made a part thereof. <br /> <br />Section 5. That any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty <br />of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not to exceed Two <br />Hundred and noli 00 Dollars ($200.00). <br /> <br />Section 6. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby <br />expressly repealed to the extent of such conflict only. <br /> <br />Section 7. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its date of <br />passage and publication as required by law and after the installation of speed limit signs. <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 14th day of May, 2001. <br /> <br />~ <br />Michael J.
