Darnell by deed recorded in Volume 341, Page 273, Lamar County Deed Records; THENCE South 000 34' 23" East with said common line a distance of411.82 feet to an iron pin found for comer; THENCE South 580 32' 57" West a distance of 561.15 feet to an iron pin found for comer; THENCE South 320 47' 00" East along the northeast boundary line of said North Hills Road to the place of beginning in the existing city limit line of the city of Paris as described in said Ordinance No. 97-059, containing approximately 14.563 acres afland, more or less. Said tract described herein being known as The Hills No. 1 as shown on the Final Plat of said subdivision filed with the County Clerk of Lamar County on January 18, 2001, be, and the same is hereby, annexed to the city of Paris, Texas, and that boundary limits of the city of Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, extended to include the above-described territory, and the same shall hereafter be included within the territorial limits ofthe city of Paris, and that said land and the inhabitants thereof shall hereafter be entitled to all of the rights and privileges and subject to all of the obligations and responsibilities of other citizens of the city of Paris, Texas, and shall be bound by the acts and ordinances of the City of Paris. Section 3. That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, directed to file with the County Clerk of Lamar County, Texas, a certified copy of this Ordinance accompanied by a copy of the Petition for Annexation. Section 4. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 5. That this ordinance shall become effective on March 12,2001.
