<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, desires to amend the <br />aforesaid Zoning Ordinance to create overlay districts and designate Historic Districts as authorized <br />zoning districts within the city of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this ordinance are hereby in all things <br />approved. <br /> <br />Section 2. That Subsection 3-100 of Section 3, Zoning Districts Established, of Ordinance <br />No. 1710, the Zoning Ordinance ofthe City of Paris, is hereby amended to expand the number of <br />designated zoning districts to include a Historic District (HD) designation, said amended Subsection <br />3-100 to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 3. Zoning Districts Established <br /> <br />3-100 The city of Paris, Texas, is hereby divided into nineteen (19) zoning districts. <br />The use, height, and area regulations as set out therein are uniform in each <br />district.
